Pipeline Integrity Engineer - Permanent - £40k - £50k - Remote
You will be responsible for managing the integrity owned and operated pipelines to allow the safe, reliable and efficient delivery of products to our customers
The role requires the highest standards of visible SHEQ leadership to ensure that suitable engineering standards are applied and compliance with requirements and appropriate legislation can be demonstrated.
Additionally you will be managing the Pipeline Inspection Program you will ensure that the condition of the pipelines is fully understood allowing decisions regarding fitness for service and investment opportunities to meet current and future needs can be made with confidence
You need to explore the application of new technology and alternative resourcing models to deliver an enhanced inspection service in the most efficient manner.
Regular communication and co-ordination is required with the Plant Managers, Tonnage Account Managers Engineering and Reliability resources as well as third party service providers to achieve the objectives
What makes you great
" You will have an engineering degree plus several years industrial experience in a process industry
" A Chartered Engineer or working towards it
" You have a proven track record of managing asset integrity in a high hazard industry, knowledge of pipelines, the relevant legislation and cathodic protection systems clearly an advantage
" Further you are able to work with all levels of the organisation, customers and third parties effectively
" You must have a high level of personal integrity
