Pipefitter

TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation on an exciting new project in Bedfordshire. They are looking for experienced Plumber/Pipefitters to become part of an ever expanding and skilled team.

Our client are working on a commercial school project. We are looking for pipe fitters to install copper/stainless steel up to 35mm, hanging radiators, and fan coil units. The project is due to run until late August

MAIN DUTIES

• Install copper/stainless steel up to 35mm, hanging radiators, and fan coil units.


• Installation of mechanical plumbing and heating components.


• To ensure that the quality of work always meets the highest possible standards.


• Keep the customer up to date with progress and plans.


• Undertake all work efficiently and cost effectively, minimising non-productive time wherever possible and reporting any difficulties encountered to the Resource Controller and /or Supervisor.

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 4 with ½ hour break, some Saturdays available for overtime especially through the summer holidays

Pay: £24 Per hour (CIS)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• CSCS card or PUWER Cert (PUWER Cert preferred


• Manual Handling cert


• Asbestos Awareness cert


• NVQ level 2-3 in plumbing (desired but not essential)


• Clean DBS check (TXM can apply for the DBS for you).

Upon offer of position, you will be required to complete a basic Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, and PUWER course, which you will be reimbursed for.
