Job Title: PhysiotherapistLocation: LeedsType: PermanentSalary: £36,780 - £41,669 per annumSanctuary Personnel are seeking a skilled and dedicated physiotherapist to join our client's dynamic team. As a physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality person-centred care within a multi-disciplinary setting, ensuring the continuity and effectiveness of physical management for service users.Key Relationships:
Mentoring and supervising junior team membersCollaborating effectively with the Therapy team, nursing teams, and the wider Multi-Disciplinary TeamWorking alongside volunteers, assistants, and students within the team
Complexity and Accountability:
No budgetary responsibilities, but expected to assist in controlling expenditureAccountability in ensuring transparency in communication with service users and/or their representativesClinical responsibility for managing a specific caseloadInitiation of innovative clinical projects using skilled knowledge and research awarenessSupporting and directing colleagues through skilled knowledge and researchCompliance with professional ethics, legal frameworks, and quality governance policies
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment of service user needs to optimize independence, physical function, and symptom controlDevelopment of formal plans for families and carers to provide physiotherapy interventionsPromotion of choice in clinical practice and facilitation of feedback from service users and their representativesCommunication and collaboration with health, social care professionals, and volunteersPrescription, provision, and maintenance of equipment within available resourcesMaintenance of accurate records in compliance with professional and charity standardsDemonstration of clinical leadership and promotion of clinical supervisionEnsuring a safe working environment and maintaining service user confidentiality
Qualifications Required:
Diploma/BSc in PhysiotherapyCurrent and valid Registration with Health & Care Professions CouncilEvidence of Continued Professional DevelopmentUK driving license
Experience, Skills, and Ability:
Proficiency in evidence-based practice and outcome measuresCompetence in physiotherapy assessments and interventions using clinical reasoningAbility to work autonomously and prioritise tasks effectivelyConfidence in assessing and managing risks related to physical performanceStrong organisational and IT skillsKnowledge of relevant legislation impacting practiceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCapability to build effective working relationshipsDesirable experience in relevant settings, including practice placements
