We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Associate to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients within our practice on Monday-Friday. A Physician Associate (PA) is a healthcare professional who is trained to provide medical care under the supervision of a licensed physician. Their job description typically includes the following responsibilities:

Patient Care: Physician Associates work alongside physicians to provide medical care to patients. This may involve conducting physical exams, taking medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications.

Collaboration: PAs collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and specialists, to coordinate patient care and ensure that patients receive comprehensive treatment.

Education and Counseling: PAs educate patients about their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive healthcare measures. They may also provide counseling on lifestyle changes, such as diet and exercise, to promote health and wellness.

Documentation�Physician Associates maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, diagnostic test results, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Continuing Education�PAs participate in continuing education activities to stay current with advances in medical knowledge and technology. This may include attending conferences, seminars, and workshops, as well as reading medical journals and participating in online learning modules.

Adherence to Regulations: PAs adhere to professional and ethical standards of practice, as well as federal and state regulations governing the delivery of healthcare services. They also maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
