Physical Education Teacher (lead of KS3)
You will be teaching Physical education at a school that prides itself on preparing children for their lifelong journey ahead. The area this school serves has its own challenges, with many children from disadvantaged families and a high level of deprivation. Your students are coming to school for a safe space and have an abundance of pastoral care available to them and their families. Here, they are empowered and motivated, they feel like their voices are heard. They are even involved in the interview process of new staff, so be prepared for their questions! This role is for a September start, however can start sooner for the right candidate, or for a candidate that doesn't have a notice period. 
Academy leaders have made vast improvements to the curriculum in the past few years, and you will be clear on what you need to teach. In your lessons students embark on a journey covering content and developing skills through engaging and practical activities. They will experience a fluid movement throughout KS3 and KS4.

This secondary school is based in Birmingham and is recruiting a permanent PE Teacher (QTS). You will be teaching PE to KS3 & KS4 pupils, with an aspect of KS3 lead.
Salary: M1 – M6 depending on experience + TLR2A (£3,017)
Plus an additional £3000 Recruitment and Retention payment over 3 years for the right candidate
To be successful in your application, you should; 
• Hold a relevant Teaching qualification 
• Have knowledge of teaching PE
• Be able and willing to travel to the Birmingham area 
• Have high expectations of yourself in your career and the pupils you teach
