Role: Mid-level Developer
Location: Wolverhampton (Hybrid based Position)
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
A rapidly growing software house based in Wolverhampton are currently looking for a Mid-Level Developer to join their innovative business.
Their current software team are developing projects based around a large scale SaaS application.
Role and Responsibilities Mid-level Developer:
Assist in the development of web applications using Laravel and PHP
Collaborate with senior developers to design, code, test, and deploy new features and improvements
Maintain and optimize existing PHP web applications.
Follow coding best practices and coding standards to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Work on debugging and troubleshooting technical issues in collaboration with the support team.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Participate in regular team meetings and provide feedback for process improvements.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
Key Skills of the Mid-Level Developer
Strong OO PHP in a LAMP or LEMP stack environment
PHP framework exposure (Laravel preferably)
Front End JavaScript framework knowledge (for example Vue.js)
Database design (MySQL etc)
Git version control experience
Agile methodology understanding
Restful API exposure
Linux web server or Amazon Web Services experience is beneficial.
