Job DescriptionHarvey Nash have partnered exclusively with a leading Financial Services organisation based in Yorkshire.They are looking for a PHP Developer to join their newly formed web development team. This is an exciting opportunity if you are looking to get involved in a greenfield environment with some great plans in motion.Given the plans being in the early stages, you will be directly involved in improving the way customers engage with the new customer portal, there is plenty of room to evolve this service further and deliver something amazing for the customers.Experience of interest:Creating responsive websites and web apps using HTML, PHP, JavascriptFull stack development, Bootstrap, SQLBest practice PHP with an emphasis on secure development practicesLinux, Apache/Nginx, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Bootstrap stackCreating scalable, clean and resilient solutions through codeVersion control through Git to manage the codebase efficientlyDesirable experience:PHP Development without popular frameworks such as Laravel.NET would be highly advantageousWorking within a DevOps cultureKnowledge of File Transfer ProtocolStrong skills with SQL would be desirableWhat’s in it for me?Salary: £48,000-£55,000 DOEBonus: 5%Flexi-Bonus: 3% (Take as cash lump sum, Pension, or Holiday contribution!)WFH 4 days per week28 days holiday + Bank HolidaysOngoing development opportunitiesComprehensive health and wellbeing benefitsUnfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorship on this role and a full right to work in the UK will be required.
