PHP Developer

Harvey Nash have partnered exclusively with a leading Financial Services organisation based in Yorkshire.
They are looking for a PHP Developer to join their newly formed web development team. This is an exciting opportunity if you are looking to get involved in a greenfield environment with some great plans in motion.
Given the plans being in the early stages, you will be directly involved in improving the way customers engage with the new customer portal, there is plenty of room to evolve this service further and deliver something amazing for the customers.
Experience of interest:
Creating responsive websites and web apps using HTML, PHP, Javascript
Full stack development, Bootstrap, SQL
Best practice PHP with an emphasis on secure development practices
Linux, Apache/Nginx, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Bootstrap stack
Creating scalable, clean and resilient solutions through code
Version control through Git to manage the codebase efficiently
Desirable experience:
PHP Development without popular frameworks such as Laravel
.NET would be highly advantageous
Working within a DevOps culture
Knowledge of File Transfer Protocol
Strong skills with SQL would be desirable
What's in it for me?
Salary: £48,000-£55,000 DOE
Bonus: 5%
Flexi-Bonus: 3% (Take as cash lump sum, Pension, or Holiday contribution!)
WFH 4 days per week
