Role outline and purpose
The Trussell Trust are seeking a Philanthropy Executive - Trusts to join our high-performing Trusts team.The role supports the Trussell Trust by raising money from charitable trusts, focusing specifically on Tier 3trusts (giving up to c.£10,000). You will coordinate a programme of regular stewardship communicationsto our current givers, fundraise from new prospects through mailings and occasional applications, provideadministrative support to the wider team, and ensure that records of communications are kept up todate. Responsibilities
Coordinate and send mass mailings to Tier 3 charitable trusts, thanking supporters and requestingfurther support where appropriate
Develop compelling, persuasive and up-to-date bulk communications to encourage Tier 3 trusts togive regularly, and keep them informed of the Trussell Trusts achievements and future plans,coordinating with other fundraising teams where appropriate
Manage a caseload of c.500 Tier 3 trusts, maintaining accurate records on our CRM database andcarrying out analysis on these trusts as necessary
Liaise with the Supporter Care and Trusts team to ensure that gifts from trusts are coded, thankedand recorded correctly on our database
Create and submit occasional funding applications and impact reports for Tier 3 trusts, and offersupport to the wider team with their trusts where necessary
Manage the Trusts team inbox, providing first point of contact for enquiries and colleagues, andfielding them to the relevant Trusts team members.
Person Specification
Technical skills and minimum knowledge:
Excellent communication skills, including a high standard of written English
A high standard of personal organisation and autonomy
A high level of numeracy and IT literacy, including proficiency using Outlook, Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work on multiple projects, identifying conflicting demands and establishing clearpriorities to meet deadlines
Ability to distil large volumes of information and detail into compelling and succinctcommunications using a variety of methods.
