Pharmacy Technician

Staff Partners are currently working with a Pharmacy based in Leicester (LE5 area), who are looking to expand their team by hiring a ‘Pharmacy Technician’ on a full time permanent basis.

The duties of the Pharmacy Technician are as follows:

• To support Pharmacist and carry out the dispensing on site


• Ensuring all queries are dealt with in a timely manner


• Interacting with clients and patients over the phone and face to face in a profession and friendly manner


• To select, label and dispense correct items in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure safe supply to patients


• To assist with stock control and inventory procedures to maximise availability and minimise waste, liaising with named wholesalers on daily basis when ordering stock as per requirement for business needs.

Skill & experience required:

• NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services / Registration with the general Pharmaceutical Council (GPhc)


• SystmOne user skill (Desirable)


• Great Oral and written communication


• Commitment to continuing professional development and training


• Trustworthy & understanding
