Pharmaceutical Health and Safety Trainee Specialist - Working From HomeFull-time****We have a fantastic opportunity for a Pharmaceutical Health and Safety Trainee Specialist to join our PSS Team****The purpose this trainee role is to gain experience and insight into EHS procedures and policies within PSS, to assist to provide and maintain an effective and safe working environment that complies with environmental, health and safety legislation. The role will work with all levels in the PSS organisation to strengthen the EHS culture. The role will assist coordination of the PSS Safety Policies, Risk assessment processes and the PSS sustainability teams.This role will be based working from home with the expectation to visit client sites as required. Responsible for identifying areas where efficiencies may be improved and liaising with the customer appropriately about any proposed improvements.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science related disciplineAt least 4 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical industry GMP laboratory.NEBOSH National General Certificate in Health & Safety qualified (or supported through training)An understanding of requirement to develop EHS compliance programs, with exposure to chemical and/or biological agents in the Pharmaceutical industry or related industry.Clear understanding of the needs of cGMPAbility to work in a multidiscipline team but also possesses self-motivation and drive.Good understanding of Health & Safety and Environmental Legislation and regulations.Experience of chemical/biological agents risk assessment and occupational monitoring is advantageous. Experience in participation of EHS audits.Excellent organisational skills and good commercial acumen.Self-motivated with the ability to drive improvements.Proven ability to build effective relationships.Demonstrate effective communication skills and a proactive attitude to solving any lab issues by liaising with management and offering solutions where appropriate.Superlative team player, organised, accurate, have strong documentation skillsPassionate about quality and customer service.Good communication skills both internally and externally.*This is an opportunityto join Eurofinson a full time or part time permanent basis.*Working from home position*Opportunity to work on various client sites across Ireland and UK.*Benefits of pension contribution, medical insurance, health insurance and bonus are included in package.*Eurofins Management and Team available for support.*Opportunity to get to know fantastic people and be part of a great team.
