Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Personal Trainer to join our team. As a Personal Trainer, you will work closely with clients to help them achieve their fitness goals through tailored exercise plans and expert guidance. The right candidate must be hard working, punctual and enthusiastic within the gym environment.
-Must be able to work well as part of a team.
-Should be confident in adapting to the individual clients needs within small and large groups sessions and a 1-1 environment.
-Be comfortable with the use of computers and software (full training will still be given)
-Have initiative and drive to succeed in commission sales.
-Provide a well-rounded approach to all aspects of the client’s fitness journey from coaching on the gym floor to behind the scenes creating a seamless journey for all our clients.
Duties:
Conduct fitness assessments and inductions to evaluate clients' current fitness levels
Develop personalised workout plans based on clients' goals and abilities
Instruct and demonstrate exercises, ensuring correct form and technique
Lead small group, large group and 1-1 PT sessions
Motivate and support clients throughout their fitness journey
Monitor clients' progress and adjust workout plans as needed
Adapt sessions to the individual and any injuries or limitations
Provide member reviews and guidance on nutrition and lifestyle choices to complement fitness routines
Maintain a community atmosphere
Complete consultations for new member start ups
Complete admin and back-office duties
Maintain the cleanliness of the gym
Key holder
Requirements:
- Certified Personal Trainer with a recognised qualification
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and exercise physiology
- Experience in sports coaching or personal training
- Excellent communication skills to educate and motivate clients effectively
- Ability to adapt training techniques to suit individual needs
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals
-First aid qualification
A minimum of 2 years’ experience is desirable for this role but not essential, the right candidate will have full training.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
