Spencer Clarke Group are currently working alongside a Medium sized Accountancy Practice based on the outskirts of Bradford, who are looking to recruit an experienced Personal Tax Senior!This firm is such a modern, forward thinking and flexible Accountancy Firm who offers lots of opportunity.This is an incredible opportunity to pursue your Tax career goals, whilst enjoying a flexible work/life balance.We are searching for someone who is motviated and ambitious, who wants the opportunity to join a highly reputable Chartered Accountancy Practice and be based within their expanding Tax team.The role will offer incredible exposure and progression prospects to develop your career.We are needing someone who is seeking a full time position.This role will involve the provision of tax compliance and advisory services to individuals while building trusted relationships with clients.You will perform a client-facing role and work closely with their highly experienced Tax Director on both complex compliance andad hoc advisory projects.You will be responsible for: Preparation and review of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships and Trusts, across a wide range of clientsLeading projects of limited scale and complexity and tax planningPreparation of forms P11d and calculation of benefits in kind for employeesConsistently building and maintaining key client relationships by delivering exceptional client serviceActing as a key point of contactResearching legislation in relation to tax treatment of items in tax computations and also in relations to special projects and tax planning exercisesCreating solutions for clients on a range of tax matters including Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and dealing with HMRC enquiriesCross selling and assisting other departments to win new work by actively being involved in new proposalsWorking closely with and assisting the Tax Director What we are looking for from you: ATT or CTA qualification and demonstrable post qualified experience, or a proven track record of Qualified by ExperienceProven experience in personal tax working in a small, medium, or large firm environmentYou must be able to demonstrate a broad and strong technical tax knowledge and also have the ability to deal with complex tax issuesConfident in working with clients actively building relationships to become a trusted advisorGreat organisation and problem-solving skills with a genuine interest and willingness to make a positive contributionPositive use of initiativeWide range of communication skills, across all platformsFlexible and proactive approach to work and the ability to work under pressureKeen to be part of a dynamic team with a strong desire to coach and develop team membersAbility to use tax software and Microsoft Office products What’s on offer for you?
