Personal Safety Trainer - Are you passionate about empowering individuals to navigate challenging situations with confidence?

IKON are experts in designing and delivering communication skills-based training. We are renowned nationwide training provider specialising in empowering individuals to manage challenging behaviour in the workplace. We believe in a world where everyone has the right to feel safe and confident at work.  We are recruiting an experienced Personal Safety Trainer to join our growing, collaborative team working in Manchester, Birmingham, or Leeds.

As a Personal Safety Trainer, you will independently deliver training in conflict resolution and managing challenging behaviour training across diverse sectors, including Healthcare, Transport, Education, Social Care, Facilities, and Retail. Your responsibilities range from content development and lesson plan review to nationwide training delivery and digital evaluation. Flexibility is vital, as this role involves remote work and travel for on-site training sessions.

Requirements of the Personal Safety Trainer:

Minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or PTTLS.
Recent training delivery experience.
Physical Intervention skills qualification and delivery experience.
Good level of written and spoken English
Proficient in Microsoft 365
Clean driving license and reliable vehicle

This role is Full-time, working remotely and travelling to deliver on-site training when required. On offer is a salary of £30,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience, business mileage and expenses to be reimbursed, plus 20 days annual leave, 3 days Christmas shut down and bank holidays, company away days and a pension scheme.  Also included is a professional training and mentor development program and all associated training materials, uniforms, and IT equipment.
