Personal Advisor

This company is a leading provider of services to individuals in need. They are committed to providing high-quality support to vulnerable people and are looking for a Personal Advisor - Care Leaver and USAC to join their team.

The Personal Advisor - Care Leaver and USAC will play a key role in supporting young people who are leaving care and transitioning into adulthood. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice, guidance, and practical support to help these young people achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

• Provide one-to-one support to young people leaving care
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals
• Assist young people in accessing education, training, and employment opportunities
• Provide advice and guidance on a range of issues, including housing, finances, and health and wellbeing
• Ensure that young people are aware of and able to access relevant services and support

• Experience working with young people, particularly those leaving care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies
• Flexible approach and willingness to work outside of normal office hours if required
