• Implementing and overseeing Safe Systems of Work procedures
• Conducting risk assessments and safety audits
• Providing safety briefings to the engineering and manufacturing team
• Issuing work permits in compliance with company policies
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations
• Investigating and reporting on safety incidents
• Developing safety training materials
• Engaging with stakeholders to promote safe work practices

Profile

A successful Permit Officer should have:

• A relevant qualification in Health and Safety or Industrial Engineering
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Safe Systems of Work practices
• Strong communication skills to effectively deliver safety briefings
