Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Swindon, WiltshireAre you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary surgeon?Are you looking to join an established independent small animal practice?We are recruiting on behalf of an independent small animal practice in Swindon for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon. This role is full time for 4 days per week with shifts from 9am to 6:30pm, along with 1 in 4 Saturdays from 9am to 12pm. There is also an additional 1 in 4 rota for hospitalised patient care. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.The practice is looking for an enthusiastic vet who has good surgical and medical skills and a genuine passion for what they do. They will have had several years of quality experience and further qualifications would be advantageous. Excellent client care and communication skills are important along with the ability to coach others within the team. In result they provide an open culture and support Vets in their ongoing development and learning with a good emphasis on CPD.This is an established first opinion independent practice which is fully equipped with all the toys as one would expect including ultrasound, in-house laboratory, endoscopy, laparoscopy, blood pressure monitor, ECG and regenerative medicine, including PRP and stem cell. They have three sites in total. The main site allows cases to be dealt with in house so there is rarely need for any referral work.The practice have an excellent nurse to vet ratio with a large friendly and supportive team of 36 staff in total. There are a few senior nurses who provide excellent support to both newly graduated Vets and experienced vets.
