Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Usk, MonmouthshireAre you a qualified or soon to be RCVS registered veterinary Surgeon?Are you looking for a new opportunity in Merseyside?Would you likeA salary between up to £60,000 pro rata per annum commensurate to experience?We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Usk, Monmouthshire for a Permanent full or part time Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.The full time role offers a 40 hour working week with shifts between 8.30am and 7pm over a 4day period. There is a 1:3 weekend rota and no OOH. Part time applications considered also.Type: Small Animal VetHours: Full time or part time. Full time equals 40 hours per week.TOIL: N/AOOH: NoneComputer System: MerlinConsultations: 15 MinutesTeam: 6 Vets, 10 Nurses, practice manager and reception team.Salary: Up to £65,000 pro rata per annum commensurate to experienceThe roleSmall Animal role.Full time or part time hours available with full time offering a 40 hour working week. There is a shared 1:3 Saturday rota with no OOH. Day shifts are between the hours of 8.30am and 7pm.The role will be based in both the main surgery and also across the branch surgeries on a shared rota basis.The role will involve a split between surgeries, consultations and in patient care.Certificate support and funding is available and encouraged.Flexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work / life balance. EG Rota to work around the school run / holidays /lifestyle.The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.About them:Small Animal Practice - long established practice with a great loyal client base. Two sites.They encourage the development of special interests.They are fully equipped with facilities including Ultrasound, endoscopy, digital x-ray, dental x-ray and theatre and in house laboratory.They have a supportive team of 6 Vets, 10 Nurses, practice manager and reception team. They have certificate holding surgeons in house in small animal medicine and surgery so therefore they are able to treat a wide variety of cases in house.They pride themselves on staff retention and over the recent years and have longstanding team members.They support personal development with a generous CPD allowance and encourage and support certificates and additional training.The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.Team culture:They have a supportive team and understand the importance of wellbeing.The team work together to support one another and enable each other to achieve goals and continue to develop their clinical skills and knowledge.They understand the difficulties that the vet industry can face, and they ensure that each member of staff support each other and strive each day to provide a positive and encouraging work environment.Who are they looking forThey are looking for an confident and professional Vet who is happy to work both sole charge when required and also closely with the rest of the team.The Vet will be comfortable with sole charge work when required.The Vet will be a team player and someone who is always looking to develop and improve their skills.The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills.
