Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - BuckinghamAre you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary surgeon?Are you looking to join an established small animal practice in Buckingham?Are you looking for...A salary of up to £75,000 pro rata?We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Buckingham for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This is a full or part time for up to 20 hours per week over 2 or 3 days, along with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. The practice provides its own overnight hospitalisation for ongoing cases but there will be no OOH work or on-call duties.Type: Small animalHours: Part time, up to 20 hours per week over 2 or 3 daysOOH: NoneComputer system: MerlinConsultations: 15 minutesThe roleThey can offer a wide variety of case load along with case continuityThey can offer a mixture of both consultations and surgeries and will support areas of special interestsThey offer 15 minute consultationsFlexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work / life balance. EG Rota to work around the school run or holidaysThe Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.About them:First opinion veterinary practiceThe practice are equipped with a wide range of diagnostics, laboratory and surgical and hospitalisation facilities. The are able to perform their own cardiac scan, endoscopy, laparoscopy, fracture repairs and TTAs.They have a team of 6 Vets, 6 Nurses, 1 SVN and support teamThey are continuing to grow and expand and are now in need of an additional vetThey have a great local reputation and pride themselves on the communication in terms of client care that they provideThey are able to support certificatesThe practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.Team culture:They pride themselves on providing a supportive environment where there is a focus of offering a great work-life balanceThey have a supportive and positive culture and no blame culture.The team work together to support one another and enable each other to achieve goals and continue to develop their clinical skills and knowledge.They understand the difficulties that the vet industry can face, and they ensure that each member of staff support each other and strive each day to provide a positive and encouraging work environmentAbout youThe Vet will be competent in routine surgeries (Caesarean and pyometra) and consultations.
