They are a very encouraging team who are always willing to step in and work together in times of need and we work hard to provide the highest standards in client and animal care. They work closely with other ambulatory services, veterinary practices, and referrals to be able to offer more options for each patient.Facilities: They have two very well-established first opinion surgeries in Leicestershire, both of which have a loyal client base of well over 20 years. Both practices are equipped with digital radiography, ultrasounds, and their laboratory is fully equipped with haematology and biochemistry analysers to assist in the rapid diagnosis of illness. They also have good-sized bright and clean consult rooms for our varied first opinion cases, and also a good-sized prep and theatre at each branch.Role: They have an excellent opportunity for a Small Animal Vet to join their fantastic team!Hours: They are happy to discuss both full-time and part-time rota variations that flex with you and your lifestyle as we know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it easy for you to strike the right balance. The standard full-time rota consists of working a 4-day week (Monday – Friday) with 1:4 weekends which consist of Saturday 08:30-15:00 with time back in lieu. Duties: Your time will be split between 1st opinion consultations and theatre work, providing a varied workload. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver a first-class, first-opinion veterinary service supported by experienced RVN's, VCA's, and reception team. You would have the clinical freedom to follow and work up cases to a high standard, and make a positive impact from day one. They can offer you the opportunity to build a caseload that suits your clinical interests and can support further qualifications you may wish to pursue.Applicant Requirements: They are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is comfortable with sole charge on occasion but also confident in all first opinion duties. You should have good communication skills and be able to listen to your clients.
