Permanent Mixed Veterinary Surgeon - Oban, ArgyllAre you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary surgeon?Are you looking to join a mixed animal practice located in the Scottish Highlands?We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Oban, Argyll for a Permanent Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full or part time with weekends, OOH work and on-call duties on a rota.Type: Mixed animalHours: Full or part timeOOH: On a rotaComputer system: MerlinConsultations: 15 minutesTeam: 6 vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 VCA and a supportive non-clinical teamThe roleThis role offers a varied mixed animal caseloadThey have a team of 6 vets that you will work alongside and some of them have certificates in Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiology and BehaviourSupport is provided for Vets looking to develop in an area of special interest.The role offers a varied caseload including orthopaedic cases, medicine, dental and soft tissue surgeries.The role will involve duties including consultations and surgeries. There will be some sole charge work involved on occasion so the Vet must feel comfortable.Flexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work-life balanceThe Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.About them:Oban is located close in the Highlands and offers a plethora of outdoor activities.They are fully equipped with diagnostics including endoscopy, ultrasound, digital x-ray, in house laboratory and separate dog and cat kennel.They have a supportive team of 6 vets, some of whom are certificate holding surgeons, and a talented team of 3 RVNsThe pride themselves on offering case continuity and maintaining strong clients relationships.They support personal development with a generous CPD allowance and encourage and support certificates and additional training.The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.Team culture:They pride themselves on a collaborative team culture.
