Permanent Large Animal Veterinary Surgeon - Fakenham, NorfolkAre you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary surgeon?Are you an equine and farm vet looking for a new opportunity in Norfolk?We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Fakenham, Norfolk for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 4.5 days per week, along with 1 in 4 weekend and nights on a rota. Part time applications can be considered.Type: 80% equine, 20% farmHours: Full time, 4.5 days per weekOOH: On a rotaComputer system: MerlinConsultations: 15 minutesTeam: 5 vetsThe role80% equine and 20% farm roleThe equine role is both ambulatory and clinic basedThe role offers the opportunity for the Vet to focus on equine dentistry as this is a large focus within the practiceAreas of special interest are encouraged and supportedFlexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work / life balance, EG Rota to work around the school run / holidays /lifestyleThe Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer serviceThe Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clientsAbout them:Purpose built Equine and Farm Animal practice.Sites are fully equipped with facilities including stocks, consulting room, theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, gastrocope, shockwave and laser.The Vet will be working alongside a team of 5 Vets and 4 support staff. One Vet holds a certificate in equine dental.They support personal development with a generous CPD allowance and encourage and support certificates and additional training.The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.Team culture:They have a positive and supportive culture in place and they regularly have clinical discussions.The team work together to support one another and enable each other to achieve goals and continue to develop their clinical skills and knowledge.They understand the difficulties that the vet industry can face, and they ensure that each member of staff support each other and strive each day to provide a positive and encouraging work environment.About you:The Vet will be experienced and confident in all areas clinically.
