Permanent Equine Veterinary Surgeon - Holsworthy, DevonAre you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary surgeon?Are you looking for a new equine opportunity?We have an opportunity for a Permanent Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join an animal practice in Holsworthy, Devon.The practice is looking for a surgeon who has excellent communication skills in order to inform and support clients, competence in routine consultations surgeries and the ability to create evidence-based treatment plans. The vet will receive support from experienced vets.The role is full or part time with weekends on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties unless you are working part time.The role will focus on pleasure, sport horse, racing, stud client base with ambulatory and clinic-based work. The practice is home to high quality portable equipment including video gastroscope and endoscopes, two Cuatro Slate Hub DR units, digital ultrasound scanners and shockwave. There is also a newly refurbished operating theatre, lameness diagnostic facilities, a new Leonardo Dual 45 diode laser and BEVA approved AI with onsite stocks, stabling and paddocks. You will have responsibility for your own cases including work ups at the clinic and will be working alongside experienced colleagues. There are regular clinical club meetings and mentoring.
