DescriptionJob Description and BenefitsAdventure Camps is seeking passionate Performing Arts Instructors to join our team, delivering a high-quality, school-holiday camp experience. Our instructors play a crucial role in ensuring children aged 5 to 17 are engaged, inspired, and creatively stimulated.About the RoleReporting to the Site Manager, Performing Arts Instructors are responsible for leading groups of children in a diverse range of performing arts activities. These activities span various disciplines such as drama, dance, and music, and are a key component of our award-winning Multi-Active Programme. Sessions typically last between 30 – 60 minutes, with a focus on creativity, expression, and teamwork.Our approach is centered around Engaged-Creative-Teaching – ensuring high-energy, inclusive, and fun sessions that encourage every child to express themselves artistically.Person Specification (Ideal but with some flexibility)- Available between 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday, during school holidays, for the duration of shorter seasons, and a minimum of 3 consecutive weeks during the summer season.- Flexibility around work or study commitments, with various opportunities for shorter hours and weeks.- At least 6 months’ experience in teaching or facilitating performing arts for children aged 5 – 17 years.- Qualifications or extensive experience in performing arts, drama, dance, music, or related fields.- Paediatric First Aid certification is desirable (training opportunities are also available).- Energetic, resilient, and a strong team player.- Adaptable and open to working in a dynamic environment.Joining United Adventure Camps as a Performing Arts Instructor offers:- A weekly pay rate of £370 to £515 (dependent on age and experience).- A rewarding and enjoyable experience focusing on creative development.- Opportunities for career development and regular employment with us.- A supportive and experienced team of coaches and managers.- The joy of fostering leadership, communication, and creative skills in children.- Delivery of industry-leading activity programmes in top-tier facilities and locations across the UK.- Access to comprehensive training and onboarding processes.- The chance to make a significant impact on the lives of children from various backgrounds, contributing to their artistic growth and overall well-being.Join us in our mission to enrich the lives of children through the performing arts, contributing to their happiness and creative development.
