Job DescriptionDescriptionAbout the TeamThe Panel Support Team ensures that we have sufficient Panel Members and Legal Assessors who are efficient, engaged, technically proficient, empathetic in their approach and reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. We manage the selection and appointment, induction and onboarding, ongoing training and continuous development, and performance of over 500 Panel Members and Legal Assessors. We also manage and deliver the Hearings Coordinator induction training programme. About the Role The Contract Performance Officer will assist in the management and review of the conduct and performance of Panel Members and Legal Assessors who support the Fitness to Practice process, which plays a key role in the NMCs public protection remit. This role contributes to improvements in the quality of decisions made at Fitness to Practise events by ensuring performance of Panel Members and Legal Assessors is of the required standard. However in exceptional circumstances, it may be possible to offer a salary above the bottom of the relevant pay band but we may request proof of current earnings. Please note that we offer an annual review of salaries and adopt a generous progressive pay approach.
