Job Description
As the Performance Marketing Manager, you will be a key member of our expertise team that helps us deliver on our lead promises to our paying service professional clients. You will work closely with the sales and success teams as well as manage your own team of six to eight channel specialists to oversee budgets, optimize campaigns, ensure delivery, and achieve target margins.
Responsibilities:
Budget Management: Manage budgets to ensure efficient and cost-effective use of resources across the three channels (Organic, SEM, Affiliate). Monitor and track spending, making adjustments as necessary to meet and exceed campaign expectations.
Leadership & Collaboration: Manage a team of channel specialists to launch campaigns, implement strategies, and achieve goals while coordinating with other teams and stakeholders. Provide guidance to other teams as a thought leader in the SEM and digital performance space.
Strategy & Analysis: Understand how to review and synthesize data across channels to make decisions and inform stakeholders. Proactively identify areas for improvement or upsell.
Testing & Optimization: Monitor the performance of advertising campaigns in real-time and make adjustments to optimize reach and engagement. Test and experiment with different channels and strategies to improve campaign outcomes.
Channel Oversight:
Organic: Optimize lead generation from our owned and operated properties to maximize campaign margins.
SEM: Effectively utilize Google Ads and other tools to reach the right audience at the right cost.
Affiliate Web Leads and Calls: Work with and manage affiliate partnerships to source high-quality third-party web and phone leads.
Business Development: Assist with bringing on additional lead sources in known and new channels
Must Haves:
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset. A whiz with Excel and other data analysis tools.
Proven experience (not an internship) as a Digital Media Buyer or in a related role
At least 2 years of management experience (hiring and meeting KPIs)
Experience managing Affiliate partnerships and relationships and developing new delivery channels
Google Ads certification
Experience with conversion rate optimization
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Familiarity with advertising regulations and compliance
This role is focused on US Markets and would require the candidate to be open to working EST hours
