Performance and Evaluation OfficerLeek WoottonPermanent ContractPart Time (18.6 hours) Salary (£30,783.00 - £35,982.00)The closing date for this post is 12 noon on 7th May 2024Those currently eligible on the redeployment register will be given prior consideration.The main purpose of the role is to provide performance information to the Management team; undertake learning evaluations at various levels and provide Environmental Scanning support to the department.Use a variety of different software packages to develop data driven insights, for instance excel analysis.Main Responsibilities: Providing a regular suite of performance management information derived from evaluations, environmental scanning and other data.To make recommendations regarding performance measures in order to ensure that effective management interventions are implemented.Interrogate systems (e.g. Survey Software) to provide statistical evidence for business improvement.Research local, regional, national and international data to inform learning solutions.Provide support in the preparation of the annual costed training plan and to monitor activity against the plan, producing quarterly reports for the Director of Enabling Services.Design evaluation processes for learning and other areas of business as agreed with management, providing analysis of the data and recommendations for further action.To assist the management team in strategic planning and contribute to the strategic management by providing accurate information in relation to performance issues.To undertake other duties commensurate with the nature, level of responsibility and grading of this post, as required.Knowledge: Psychology degree or equivalentDesirable Masters in Occupational Psychology or another social science discipline Knowledge of statistical analysis and training evaluation techniquesExperience: Current experience of applying advanced research methodologies to evaluate L&D training interventionsExperience of analysing statistical information and presenting findings, using qualitative and quantitative data.Current experience of using data driven insights to drive cultural changeExperience in evaluating training including, surveys, observations and reportingCurrent experience of using software to develop data driven insights.Key Skills:
Excel skills or equivalentExcellent written and Oral communication skillsPresentation skills including the ability to present statistical dataComputer skills: proficient in the use of Microsoft Word; Excel; PowerPoint etc.Special Conditions: This role will be based in Warwickshire policeWe want our organisation to be as diverse as the community it serves.
