Join our global team and help us make great cinema accessible to everyone, everywhere.About the role In this role, you’ll serve a dual-purpose in two key areas of MUBI – People and Talent. We’re a lean, impactful People team of 4, working with over 300 employees globally at MUBI. Working closely with our VP People, you’ll act as an advisor and coach to our people managers, enabling them to attract, retain and develop great talent across the world, while planning and executing People initiatives that evolve our culture at MUBI.This role is a maternity cover for 12 months.You will focus on:Owning our hiring roadmap, and ensuring the business is scaling at the right pace and in a sustainable wayPartnering with our team leads to design impactful hiring processes and make thoughtful hiring decisions to attract amazing peopleCollaborating with our VP People to build employer branding, design the careers page and ensure candidates get an authentic feel of the MUBI cultureSupporting our VP People on projects in our People roadmap, currently involving performance, benefits, goal setting, growth, DEI, training sessions and many more exciting things!Leading workshops and enablement sessions to set managers and the wider business up for successPartnering with our people managers on the day-to-day of making their team successful (career growth, managing performance, wellbeing, etc.)Identifying problems using available data, challenging managers respectfully and working with them to find solutionsDesigning and implementing MUBI policies and guidance to keep the cultural dynamic of the business consistent across all of our global locationsCreating accurate quarterly reports for the leadership team on retention, growth and engagement metrics for their teamsWhat you will bring:Proven experience across both People & Talent in a senior position in a fast paced environmentExcellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, create reports and make informed decisions about problem areasExperience coaching and advising senior stakeholders (Team Lead and above)A clear understanding of the challenges that managers may be facing and ability to propose the right course of actionStrong ability to lead and manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneouslyAs a small – yet impactful! – team, we need someone who is comfortable diving into the details, and able to provide support across all areas of the function where neededResearch shows that men apply to jobs if they meet ~60% of criteria, but women and those in marginalised communities tend to apply only if they check all the boxes.If you feel you’ve got what it takes but don’t meet all the requirements we’ve listed above, we’d still love to see your application!We want to make cinema accessible to everyone.
