The Role:We are looking for an experienced People Operations Manager to join our evolving People team.Reporting into the People Director, this role will be responsible for all things People Operations. You’ll play a critical role in enabling our people to thrive and setting them up for success whilst enabling high levels of operational efficiency across the people function and the employee lifecycle. You’ll be conceptualising, building and implementing people operation initiatives, with a key focus on our systems, infrastructure, processes and compliance, whilst supporting our managers and people to embed these initiatives. In line with our salary framework, the salary for this role is between £55,700 - £65,600.Where you will spend your time: Conceptualising, building and implementing scalable and efficient people operations workflows, systems, integrations and infrastructure across the end-to-end employee lifecycle Developing progressive people policies (handbooks, contracts, documentation) that provides up to date knowledge for our teams aligned to our culture
Overseeing all people compliance, ensuring we are compliant with local and international employment laws and regulations whilst managing the relationships with our Employer of Records (EOR), suppliers and third parties Serving as a trusted advisor to our managers and employees providing support, training and guidance on our people processes, system utilisation, best practice and embedding new people operation initiatives
Overseeing all employee benefits programmes to ensure the successful administration of our global schemes, whilst analysing trends in the market to make sure we remain equitable and competitive Owning and developing our performance management framework and compensation and leveling framework to ensure it’s fit for purpose as the business grows Building and embedding a people analytics programme to drive forward data led decision making, ensuring multiple stakeholders have valuable and accurate data to drive their decisions Collaborating with the People team to provide support and delivery on wider people initiatives across the lifecycle such as talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management and learning & development We'd love to see from you: You have demonstrable experience as a People Operations Manager andare super passionate about systems, process improvement and data management and want to spend your time conceptualising and building to ensure operational efficiency You’re comfortable operating at an operational level building and implementing, but can zoom out and connect the people ops roadmap to the wider people strategy You’ve got demonstrable experience in a high growth startup that has scaled (ideally from Series A to Series B) You’ve got in depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations, especially in multiple jurisdictions You’ve got experience conducting investigations and resolving employee relations and compliance matters You’ve got experience drafting global HR / People policies and documents, ensuring they are compliant with laws and regulations whilst maintaining our culture and values at the heart of them You’ve got strong project management and can effectively and comfortably manage a number of project and priorities at any given time You’re happy to get involved in wider people initiatives - as a small team, this could look like supporting the Director of People with employee relations, employee engagement initiatives and manager support We’re after the right person and if you don’t quite hit all the criteria, we’d still encourage you to apply.
