People Experience Specialist Department: PeopleEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: Nottingham, UKCompensation: Up to £40,000 per annum dependent on experience (part-time and flexible working options may also be considered) DescriptionAs People Experience Specialist, you will join our People Team to deliver an excellent employee experience for colleagues across the business. Your role will focus on welcoming new starters into the business and supporting them throughout their first twelve months, whilst supporting managers with performance, conduct, and wellbeing issues. You will be a specialist in your field to implement new processes and procedures to achieve positive onboarding experiences and support new starters in performing to the best of their ability.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting new starters and managers across all employee life cycle events, overseeing the first twelve months of employment to provide a positive employee experience.
Managing people-related matters, being a specialist in performance, conduct, and wellbeing, and ensuring early interventions are put in place.
Lead on investigations, disciplinaries and grievances, and handle escalations.
Continually develop systems and processes, including onboarding and employee experience.
Ensure that policies are kept up to date with evolving legislations and internal changes.
Producing monthly reports and data for the People Partners and driving change through the data discovered.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
CIPD Qualification (Level 5) or close to completing (desirable)
HR generalist with demonstratable HR advisory experience.
Proficient in UK employment law and a good knowledge of legislative changes.
Experience in writing policies and procedures and working across the employee life cycle.
Proactive to come up with solutions and actively contribute to discussions and projects.
