Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this entrepreneurial technology and innovation orientated business based in Leeds, to recruit a talented People Director on a permanent basis. The company offers hybrid working with a requirement for 3 office days per week.We are looking for an experienced People Director to work in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team and their teams to ensure the leadership, organisational structure, working and management practices are at the optimum level to drive and support business performance. As People Director, you will be expected to contribute at a strategic level in order to identify HR priorities and recommend appropriate people management solutions to support business aims. Partnering with the CEO, COO, CFO and Senior Management Team, you will oversee all HR issues and lead on people strategies across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the People function and teamDeploy the people strategy and agreed prioritiesEnsure functional delivery of HR responsibilities including policies and processes, HRIS, resourcing, reward, employee services, leadership and management development, employee relations and learningPartner with managers and leaders to achieve strategy and targetsLead the development of processes / products / services to support business strategiesMonitor and provide insight and guidance on the effectiveness of people management practices/processesSupport change initiativesIt is expected that the People Director will have a positive impact on the overall business performance by approaching the role through the following emphasis:Impact is long term and strategic in scopeLead and direct project activity in human capital domainInvolved in the formulation and development of future policyAdvise and coach leaders in optimising business performance through human capitalQualificationsGraduate level or corresponding experience, MCIPD qualified an advantage / equivalent demonstrable experienceExperience6 - 8 years in a previous Director / Lead / Head of roleSignificant relevant experience and knowledge across wide range of people disciplines including learning, resourcing, HRIS and talentExperienced in leading a teamCredible in working with senior leaders and influencing business outcomesPersonal Qualities and AttributesQualified to MCIPD or equivalent demonstrable experienceExcellent verbal and written skills which facilitate effective communication at all levelsForward thinking and planningMeticulous attention to detailAbility to make appropriate decisions using own initiativeConfident presentation skillsEnjoys a fast-paced environment and is able to multi-task in an organised manner displaying excellent time management skillsApproachable, confident and professional, comfortable being challenged and able to stand your ground when requiredIf you are looking for a highly challenging role in an extremely progressive organisation and possess the above competencies, we are keen to hear from you.Henlee Resourcing is a specialist full service human resources recruitment consultancy working with many leading Organisations across the UK.
