We’re looking for a People Business Partner to lead our people strategy, champion our culture & values and enable our colleagues to achieve their highest potential.


You’ll be a strategic advisor, coach and change agent, providing data driven insights and expertise that supports our plans in a fast-paced growing business. In this role you’ll work in a hybrid way splitting your time between home, office and in the field which will include occasional overnight stays.


 


What you’ll do



  • Develop a people plan, driving the achievement of the business objectives through a strong culture and values-based approach

  • Act as a performance coach to the Managing Director, Regional Manager, District Managers and Store Managers to improve individual performance, capability, and engagement

  • Lead, coach, and develop strong succession planning at all levels, creating a culture of development and organic growth that will support our future growth plans

  • Motivate, develop, and drive employee engagement and retention at all levels initiating cultural programmes to support. Celebrating and recognising personal and team achievements across internal and external network platforms

  • Provide expert and proactive case management of employee related issues that encourages and enables line managers to take accountability to resolve cases in line with employment legislation and business policy

  • Manage employee consultation, redeployment, or termination of employment through TUPE and redundancy exercises

  • Provide monthly data to the business, analysing MI to identify trends and actions required to improve performance, development, and employee engagement

  • Provide data and insight to enable the development of an appropriate pay, reward and recognition offering, and co-ordinate the implementation of the reward strategy


 


What you’ll need



  • CIPD qualified

  • Broad HR generalist experience & in-depth knowledge of current employment legislation and it’s application

  • Experience of TUPE and acquisitions

  • Experience of working in a multi-site organisation

  • Confident communicator with coaching and influencing skills

  • Full UK driving licence
