People Business Partner – Support Centre£36,000 - £42,000 plus benefits (Work Level 6A)Manchester City Centre, hybrid workingWe’re looking for a People Business Partner to join us and help to deliver our Co-op colleague strategy. In this role you’ll work in a hybrid way splitting your time between home and going into the office at least once a week (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).We’ll look to you to build strong relationships within the wider people team and with the leaders you support, providing generalist HR advice and creative, pragmatic HR solutions. You’ll gain exposure across our Co-op and will allow you to collaborate with a variety of teams across business areas. If you can bring us the communication and relationship building skills that we need, we can offer you the make a genuine impact on our colleague’s experience and the delivery of our vision.What you’ll do Support our partners to deliver their people plans Work alongside business leaders to put in place robust solutions to listen & improve colleague experience and to support transformational change Provide generalist support, advice, and direction to leaders across the business on key focus areas such as absence, talent and succession, resourcing, and change activity Make sure that cyclical activity (e.g., performance management) is delivered seamlessly Analyse people data to provide insight and recommendation to leaders so teams can focus on the things that make the biggest difference to colleagues and leaders Coach and mentor line managers in relation to the full range of People activity, with a focus on improving performance, building leadership capability, and increasing employee engagement Find opportunities to broaden the service offering, seeking out areas to optimise our processes Make sure that Co-op’s vision, values, and dedication to inclusion are integrated into the day-to-day approach of our teamsThis role would suit people who have Previous experience of coaching and influencing at different seniority levels Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and draw upon meaningful insights Self-motivation, with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively The ability to quickly adapt to change and a willingness to drive continuous improvement The ability to think commercially and understand the impact that issues may have on the wider businessWhy Co-op?If you have the skills that we need, we can offer you a competitive salary and great benefits package which includes 30% off Co-op branded products in our food stores (as well as other discounts on Co-op products and services).
