An exciting position has arisen for a People Assistant (Learning and Development) to join the People and OD team at a well-known health Charity. This is an excellent opportunity for a n experienced HR assistant to be responsible for administration across a busy team.Key responsibilities of the role:
Supporting the People Adviser (L&D) to manage training requests, course bookings, updating the HR system, dealing with training agreements, responding to day-to-day queriesSupporting with the Charities yearly programmes for learning and development and wellbeing supportCoordinating both internal and external training events, including designing engaging courses where appropriateMonitoring the onboarding process, keeping recruiting managers informed, in line with proposed start datesAssisting recruitment administrators with Completing pre-employment checks (including right to work, DBS, occupational health)Overseeing the L and D inbox throughout the day, acknowledging receipt of emails, and allocating to People Team members as appropriateData entry to ensure records are accurate and up to dateCoordinating both internal and external training events, including designing and delivering engaging courses where appropriateProviding support on ad-hoc administration tasks across the People and OD Team
Ideal candidate profile:
Experience of working in a similar role, providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environmentYou will have previous experience working effectively and accurately in a L&D and administrative role.Understanding of core HR processesExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong IT system knowledge including experience using HR and recruitment systemsCharity Sector experience (Desirable)
