Having secured multimillion funding, we are on a huge growth trajectory and plan to be the UK’s number one consumer law firm that is renowned, nationally, for legal services and financial complaints.As a UI/UX Developer in the marketing team at CEL Solicitors, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-centric digital experiences that enhance our brand presence and effectively communicate our legal services to clients and prospects.Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will collaborate with the firm’s designer, software developer, and content creators (SEO & marketing executives) to craft intuitive and engaging user interfaces that align with the overall marketing strategy.Your expertise in user experience design and front-end development will play a critical role in driving customer engagement and conversion on our digital platforms.You will be working in a happy office environment with a lot of emphasis on the team culture and putting clients first. You will have the ability to work from home, and our company model is ‘Grow our Own’.We are a People Before Profit Law Firm, that Celebrates Excellence in Law.Responsibilities:User Interface Design: Develop user interface designs that align with the brand’s visual identity, ensuring a consistent and aesthetically pleasing user experience across all marketing assets, including websites, landing pages, email templates, and digital advertisements.User Experience (UX) Design: Conduct user research and gather insights to inform the creation of user personas and user journey mapping. Apply best practices in UX design to optimise the usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction of our digital properties.A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing and usability testing on various marketing assets to gather data and insights for continuous improvement of user experience and conversion rates.Content Optimisation: Work closely with content creators and digital marketers to ensure that the user interface complements the content strategy, facilitating clear and compelling communication of key messages.Brand Consistency: Ensure that all UI/UX designs adhere to CEL Solicitors’ brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency across all marketing platforms.Performance Optimisation: Monitor and optimise the performance of digital assets to ensure fast loading times and smooth user interactions.Stay updated on trends: Keep abreast of the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively recommend innovative solutions to enhance our digital presence.Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, marketers, and content creators, to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX elements.Requirements:Proven experience (5+ years) as a UI/UX Developer or similar role, with a focus on creating user-friendly and visually appealing digital experiences.Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation, and a deep understanding of their UI components and grid systems.Knowledge of version control systems like Git, and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers and developers.Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processors like Sass or Less, and their impact on the UI/UX design process.Experience with RESTful APIs and AJAX to enhance user interactions and create dynamic interfaces.Understanding of website performance optimisation techniques, including minimising page load times and optimizing images.Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex web applications, with a focus on identifying and resolving UI/UX issues.Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).Knowledge of SEO best practices and their impact on UI/UX design and development.Familiarity with web analytics tools to track and analyse user behavior and engagement.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and marketing professionals.Knowledge of the legal industry or professional services sector is a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, User Experience, Computer Science, or a related field.Join our marketing team as a UI/UX Developer and play a pivotal role in shaping the digital experience for our clients and prospects.If you are passionate about creating intuitive and visually captivating user interfaces, we welcome you to contribute to our mission of providing exceptional legal services through outstanding digital experiences.
