Therefore, the successful applicant should be in or within a reasonably commutable distance to London, so you can really get plugged into the Pod Point experience. Join the EVolution: The People Administrator role sits within the heart of our People Operations team, reporting directly to the People Operations Manager and collaborating closely with our HR Project, People Partnering, and People Experience teams. The People Administrator is the main point of contact for all day-to-day people admin queries across the team and wider business and acts as a trusted representative of the People team.This role offers an opportunity to join us during a time of transformation and growth. We can offer exposure to a variety of different areas of the wider HR function and provide mentorship from a friendly and knowledgeable team of people ops professionals. If you’re passionate about a career in Human Resources, then this role could be for you!You’ll help shape the future of Pod Point through seamless day-to-day operations, process improvement and transformational projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing comprehensive administrative support across the People teams.
Assisting with HR metrics, data processing, and process improvements.
Identifying opportunities for HR process efficiencies and automation.
Taking meeting minutes and offering advisory support.
Updating and maintaining the HRIS with accurate information.
Assisting with benefits reviews, renewals administration, and annual people operations processes such as pay awards, reviews, bonus schemes, and objective setting.
Managing right-to-work checks, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
Administration of monthly payroll, ensuring error-free payroll in collaboration with the payroll team.
Taking a proactive approach with stakeholders to answer queries in a timely fashion and liaise with the team to best manage workloads.
Being a true brand ambassador for our business and People team.

Strong attention to detail with a good knowledge of general HR administration tasks.
Excellent written skills with proven ability to write and review HR letters.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a can-do and positive attitude.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with empathy.
Strong stakeholder management experience in a professional environment.
Excellent proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint & Word and previous experience with using an HRIS.
Proven self-starter with a solution-orientated mindset.
A calm, approachable, and professional demeanour, adept at self-management even in difficult situations.
Nice to have:
Proven experience working with a mid-sized People team within a growing SME.
Previous knowledge of working with People policies, contracts, payroll and HR templates.
CIPD qualifications or an HR background.
