The Role:

As a Pensions Administrator, you will work as part of a team supporting the Consulting Office in UK, being responsible for the maintenance and high quality of Aptia systems in order to provide the most accurate information to the client, so they can make better decisions. This role will work directly and on a daily basis with the UK-based consultants in several UK offices locations.
This role is a hybrid position where you will work from our office in Lisbon, as well as from your home address.
This varied role will provide you with an exciting opportunity to learn about the processes at Aptia, whilst allowing you to grow and develop your knowledge within a pensions setting and growing team.

What you’ll be doing:
A variety of administration activities connected to the running of a pension scheme, including leavers, data changes, setting up benefits into payment, general policyholder enquiries and annual scheme updates
Undertake all aspects of the data cleanse process including data analysis, data cleanse, data reconciliation and issue resolution as well as the co-ordination of member data exercises
Gain a thorough understanding of the scheme details administered in the team and ensure activities are processed in line with the scheme rules
Performing complex pensions calculations, enter pensions data and answer enquiries to the required standard using both automated and non-automated manual/system processes across a wide range of member or scheme events
Peer review complex tasks and work in process improvements
Work within specified timescales and produce quality work within this
Work as part of a team, collaborating to continuously improve processes and service to clients
What we’re looking for
Strong numeracy skills, comfortable working in a numbers based role
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
UK pension knowledge (preferential but not mandatory)
Good IT skills, comfortable working with systems and programmes such as MS Office (especially Excel)
VBA skills (preferential)
Organised with strong attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to work and collaborate as part of a team including good communication skills, both written and verbal
Able to understand and follow set processes
Able to analyse and improve processes
Flexibility in adapting to different environments and types of work.
