Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Penetration Tester to join our clients growing team! Our client year on year have seen significant growth across the testing team and are constantly looking at ways they can upskill and expand their penetration testing function. In this role you will be able to conduct various types of testing, including web application and internal/external infrastructure testing, in addition to cloud, wireless and more!

Main responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive penetration tests on web applications.
Conduct external and internal infrastructure assessments, including network scanning, enumeration, and exploitation of vulnerabilities.
Utilise industry-standard tools and techniques to simulate cyber-attacks and assess the resilience of systems against various threat vectors.
Document and communicate findings effectively, providing clear and actionable recommendations to clients for remediation.
Collaborate with teams to develop and implement security solutions.
Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge.
Actively participate in the development and refinement of penetration testing methodologies and best practices.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Professional experience conducting penetration tests on web applications and assessing external/internal infrastructure security.
Proficiency in using penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, and Kali Linux.
Strong understanding of common web application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10) and their exploitation techniques.
Familiarity with network protocols, architecture, and security controls.
