The Role
Job Title: Peer Support Worker
Hours: 34 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Covering Monday to Friday

We are looking for a proactive and positive individual to join us and make a difference to the lives of people and their communities. P3 is the partner for non-clinical support in South Derbyshire working alongside other wellbeing services to offer peer support, training and workshops for people with mental health needs.
As a Peer Support Worker you will have knowledge of recovering and living well with mental health needs, and engaging with mental health services to support recovery and use your insight to encourage and inspire people.
You will provide peer support using personal experiences and confidence gained to offer emotional and practical support to people on a 1:1 or group basis, building their confidence and skills to grow their ability to self-manage their mental wellbeing offering information, guidance, advice and support.
