Location: Newcastle 

Salary: £160- £220 per day

An ‘Good’ secondary school in Newcastle is looking for a Physical Education Teacher to join their supportive and forward thinking team. The head teacher would like to hear from candidates that are driven and a proven track record of securing successful outcomes and attainment. The main duties will include:

• Planning, teaching and assessing the PE curriculum
• Arranging outdoor education and team sport fixtures
• Following the school behaviour management policy effectively
• Promoting independence
• Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teaching Status
• Have a degree in subject area
• Be passionate about their subject area
• ECT’s are welcome
• Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
• A full checkable work history
