Job DescriptionA leading law firm is currently seeking a motivated PE Associate to join their dynamic team in London. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the execution of private equity transactions, including due diligence, financial modelling, and deal structuring. With a focus on delivering strategic advice and driving value creation, the PE Associate will work closely with senior team members to identify investment opportunities and achieve superior returns for investors.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial analysis, market research, and industry assessments.Develop complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and assess potential returns.Assist in the structuring and negotiation of private equity transactions, including term sheets, investment agreements, and shareholder agreements.Support the execution of transactions, including coordinating with legal, tax, and financial advisors, and managing the due diligence process.Monitor portfolio companies and track key performance metrics to identify opportunities for value creation and operational improvement.Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.Collaborate with colleagues across different teams to support the overall investment strategy and achieve investment objectives.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; MBA or CFA qualification is advantageous.Previous experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance, with a strong understanding of financial analysis and investment principles.Solid knowledge of financial modelling techniques and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and critically evaluate investment opportunities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams, external advisors, and portfolio company management.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.What Our Client Offers:Competitive salary and performance-based bonus structure.Opportunity to work at a leading investment firm with a strong track record in private equity.Collaborative and supportive working environment, with exposure to senior professionals and opportunities for career advancement.Involvement in high-profile and complex private equity transactions, working closely with industry-leading clients and portfolio companies.Dynamic and inclusive culture that values diversity and encourages innovation and excellence.
