The global racing enterprise boasts over 250 race wins, four INDYCAR Series championships, five INDY NXT titles, one Indy Pro 2000 and one USF2000 championship, and has captured victory five times at the famed Indianapolis 500-Mile Race. The team is now looking to expand into the pinnacle of motorsport through our Andretti Cadillac Team.
Job description:
We have an opportunity for a PDM Processor to join the Andretti Cadillac Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role you will be responsible for processing the PDM (Product Data Management) of design releases within the ERP system to allow the successful downstream production of components.
This roles requires a thorough understanding of BOMs, component/assembly relationships and the production process for components through the business. Principal Accountabilities:
Accurately process design releases in the ERP system
Feedback any release issues to the Design Team
Ensure Master Part and BOM data is correct within the ERP system
Liaise with the Project Delivery Team to ensure component and assembly attributes and routings accurately represent planned manufacture methods
Distribute information (such as latest BOMs, carry over lists, up-issue info, obsoletion lists as required)
Develop a thorough working knowledge of the company’s ERP system and be a champion for its ongoing development
Requirements
Must have previous ERP system experience in a similar role in a high pressure production environment
A high level of computer literacy is essential
Experience of BOM structures for production
Desire to process data accurately and efficiently
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to produce high quality work whilst working under pressure
Well organized and delivery focused with the ability to prioritize in a demanding environment
Previous experience of using engineering drawings and specifications is an advantage
Knowledge of motorsport manufacturing methods and assemblies is an advantage
Communicate effectively with key stakeholders
Clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email
Previous experience of MS applications including Outlook, Teams and Excel
Flexible attitude with the ability to work within a team in a high pressure rapidly changing environment
Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture
