PDCS Team ManagerBand 7Job overviewWe are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual with strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills and the motivation to progress and gain further experience, for our Team Manager post in the Personality Disorder Community Service.This post is based in either Peterborough or Cambridge, but at times will involve travel across Cambridgeshire.The service is a NICE compliant specialist outpatient service which operates across all four localities within CPFT. The service has undergone an innovative redesign and is embarking on an exciting phase of delivering a high quality service which strives for excellence for its service users. We provide evidence based treatment protocols for clients with moderate to severe personality disorder which cover three main areas of impairment that the illness can present; namely psychological, occupational & social, with a specific focus on managing high chronic risk.The treatment protocols are based on models of MBT, DBT and the Model of Human Occupation. There is an ethos of compassion for the lived experience of personality disorder and therapeutic optimism for long term recovery that runs throughout. We also offer consultation and training for services, as well as close working with GP's and primary care. Good IT skills and an understanding of data are necessary for the role.
