PCB Test Engineer

This company has long standing contracts with leading clients in the Aerospace and Defence sectors to supply highly rugged and versatile electronic solutions. The products are vacuum tubes for use in high temperature, high pressure and high vibration environments.
Our client requires Test Engineer to work on their programmes with imminent notice. The site is based in Essex, and due to the nature of the work and where the programmes sit in production, this will need to be worked on site. The contract length will be six months initially, with the current programmes running until the middle of 2025 meaning a high probability of extension. This contract will be inside of IR35.
The core skill-set will be based on testing in high voltage environments and fault finding for PCB's.
The client is looking for key skills in these areas:
Testing and fault finding down to the electronic component level
Dealing with PCB schematic
Some understanding of RF systems (desirable)
Experience with RF microwave test (desirable)
