My client are a leading financial services business who are looking for a new Payroll Specialist to support their EMEA countries. This is a unique role combining projects and BAU payroll duties, whilst being customer facing. You will be part of the wider HR team, with lots of crossover with HR operations and benefits, so an interest in this is key.
Experience running payroll internally is key, with Workday experience highly advantageous. They are currently in the process of transitioning their payroll from an external vendor to internal, so experience doing this would also be highly beneficial.
Duties will include:
Process and deliver payroll services across EMEA locations and in compliance with local laws
Partner with the global payroll team on processing that relates to multiple regions, including bonus payroll and expatriate payroll processing
Communicate new legislation impacting payroll, whilst managing compliance updates and employee communication as needed
Prepare and submit all EMEA leavers and year-end tax documents
Utilise their HRIS (Workday) for accurate payroll processing including creating reports and data auditing
Oversee EMEA region for ongoing payroll transformation projects and implement enhancements around processes in their HRIS
Partner with the wider HR team on operational efficiency for areas related to payroll including leader, global mobility and benefits
