Job Description Duties for the Payroll Specialist role:Processing monthly payroll data accurately and promptly.Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee payroll queries.Ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.Preparing payroll reports for management review.Coordinating with the HR department for new hires, terminations, and pay adjustments.Maintaining confidentiality of payroll information.Assisting in internal and external audits related to payroll. The Successful Applicant A successful Payroll Specialist should have:A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.Proficiency in payroll software Strong numerical and analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.Knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations.A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.Experience with Sage Payroll is beneficial
