As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for clients while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Your Duties:
* Process payroll for clients accurately and on time using specialised software systems.
* Calculate wages, deductions, and taxes based on employee information and relevant regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, hours worked, and other relevant data.
* Prepare and distribute payroll reports to clients and internal stakeholders as required.
* Respond to inquiries from clients and employees regarding payroll matters promptly and professionally.
* Stay updated on changes to payroll regulations and tax laws to ensure compliance.
* Assist with payroll-related audits and investigations as necessary.
* Collaborate with other team members to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their payroll-related concerns and inquiries effectively.Your Profile:
* Proven experience working in payroll processing and administration.
* In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
* Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Prior experience in an accounting or financial services firm is desirable but not essential.Assignment Information:
* Position: Payroll Specialist.
* Location: Lisburn or Belfast Offices.
* Job Type: Full time, Permanent.
