We are actively recruiting for a payroll professional job opportunity with a successful, long standing, accountancy firm based inSpalding, Lincolnshire. The salary is negotiable and will of course depend on experience and qualification level and is open within reason.Benefits:Permanent Health insurance SchemeDeath in Service Scheme50% private health insurance (optional)Competitive SalariesFull study support (all courses paid for, paid day off for the exam, paid days off for tuition/revision courses, and pay rises following successful completion of each exam)Time off in lieu (TOIL) system which offers flexibility.Paid overtimeThis role represents a great opportunity to become an integral part of a rapidly expanding practice, with substantial prospects for future career advancement.Responsibilities (may include all / any of the following):Accurate variable data entry into payroll software for multiple pay periodsProcess all new starters and leaversProvide advice and guidance relating to payroll matters to both internal staff and clientsUnderstanding of statutory payment and leave legislation and its applicationBe able to manually calculate statutory paymentsBe competent in manual payroll calculations for various contract typesTo respond to routine correspondence and enquiries from staff and clients.To maintain manual and computerised systems for each of our payroll clientsWrite liability letters and post payroll documents to clients in-line with GDPR legislationManage Construction Industry Scheme on behalf of clientsTo maintain and manage the HMRC gateways for client notices.Accurate management of client pension schemesAssist payroll team in the submission of RTI data on behalf of the clientRequirements:Experience of using Sage 50 Cloud payroll is advantageous; experience of using other payroll software packages is desirable although not essentialFlexibility with hours and peak periods of work
