Payroll Officer Location: South YorkshireContract Type: Permanent / Full TimeClosing Date: Apr 25th, 2024Ref: 1510727 Hiring an experienced Payroll Officer for a full-time permanent position, for our client based in Goldthorpe, Barnsley, to process weekly payrolls in return for a competitive salary and bonus.You will be working 36.25 hour per week with an early finish on Fridays and half hour unpaid lunchtimes. Hybrid working is an option on 3-day office/2 days working from home basis.With your formal payroll qualification or relevant experience, you will be accurate, IT literate, numerate and have good interpersonal and communication skills.You will be:Managing weekly payroll processing ensuring central and regional deadlines are met and completing month end reporting/RTI reporting to HMRC and year end processesCompleting third party enquiries and dealing with employee queriesProcessing EYU’s and SSP, SPP, SMP payments, calculating overpayments, checking exception reports, and amending errorsUsing auto enrolment processes and manual payments where requiredAmending tax codes, bank details and pay rates and ensuring legislative complianceIf you would like to be considered for the role of Payroll Officer, please submit your CV or get in touch for further details.
