A large organisation based in Manchester are seeking a permanent Payroll Officer to join their team. Paying a competitive salary, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroller to join a business with a fantastic culture and brilliant ethos.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing end to end payroll for a large volume of employees
• Ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and pensions
• Contributing to continuous improvement of the payroll process internally
• Manually calculating tax, NI and pension deductions
• Adhere to confidentiality and data protection at all times
• Ensure you are up to date with payroll legislation
• Working on Microsoft office

The ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience

• Previous experience in processing complex monthly payrolls
• Ability to undertake manual calculations
• An excellent knowledge of payroll and pensions
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A positive working attitude
